New Podcast “Steven University” And More!

Hello everyone, Dan here.

Just a quick post to announce a brand new NBS podcast “Steven University”. That’s right we are embarking on a weekly trip into the world of Steven Universe. I already love the show and has seen it multiple times, Chris has never seen it, and doesn’t really like animated TV.

So each week I will force Chris into watching an episode and then discuss it/rant about it for your amusement. On the whole it will be somewhat similar to Fringe Observers, but the episodes will be shorter, between 10 and 20 minutes.

This Podcast will be available every Friday via YouTube, iTunes and Stitcher.

But oh wait there’s more! You’re also going to start seeing more regular YouTube content from us again going forward. Previously the YouTube channel slipped away from us, left without updates for quite some time. We’re taking a back to basic’s approach for the time being to make it easy for us to keep up with.

So for the time being the content on YouTube will be mostly audio based. Similar to our podcasts, and simpler to produce. Just ease us back onto that YouTube horse. And if it works out, well, who knows how it will evolve. For the time being we’re planning all sorts of stuff, including posts with segments from our Nothing But Static podcast. For example, here’s one we prepared earlier…

We’ve been doing this for nearly five years now, so I’m wise enough to add a big “No promises” clause to the statement about being more active on YouTube in the long term. But we’ll try.

Steven University on the other hand is happening for sure, we’re committed at this point, logo and everything. Plus we’ve secretly been recording episodes for a couple of months now, I think we’re up to episode 14 of Steven Universe. So it’d be abnormally stupid to give up at this point.

So that’s everything, thanks for reading and we’ll see you back here on Friday for the first episode of Steven University.
