Alright, I haven't seen either The Green Room or As Yet Untitled, but I think the both of you made some very great points regarding the controversy surrounding these shows. I completely agree with everything you said. No way a concept can be considered "copying". That is like saying your show is ripping off Android Central's Podcast just because its some people talking to each other about what they are interested in. Come on, get real and get over yourself, Paul Provenza. Totally agree about remakes! Way too many! Although, I seem to be more open to remakes of action/sci-fi/horror and way less likely to welcome comedy or drama remakes. For example, a Total Recall or Robocop reboot, that's fine. Now they might suck, but it doesn't upset me. Now, when they announced they were remaking the classic Alan Arkin, Peter Faulk film the In-Laws I flipped my shit! I just think comedic performances are so brilliant and carry much more of the film than a sci-fi or horror performance offers. Also, some things should NEVER be remade. Imagine a Casablanca or Godfather remake? FUCK THAT. Also, the child in me is massively excited about Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles as well! Although, Leonardo is my favorite! Come on!
